Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 7 as its sleekest and most advanced foldable smartphone to date. Officially launched in India on July 9, 2025, the device will be available from July 25 via Samsung’s website and retail partners

Samsung unveiled three variants in India:

12 GB + 256 GB – ₹1,74,999

12 GB + 512 GB – ₹1,86,999

16 GB + 1 TB – ₹2,10,999

Early buyers benefit from a pre‑order offer granting the 512 GB version at the 256 GB price (until July 12)

It ships with Android 16 + One UI 8, and includes Galaxy AI features like Gemini Live, Circle to Search, as well as writing and drawing assistants.

Configurations include 12 GB RAM (256/512 GB) and 16 GB RAM (1 TB)

Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Fold 7 is significantly slimmer (4.2 mm vs 5.6 mm when open), one of the lightest at 215 g (down from 239 g), features a bigger display (8.0″ vs 7.6″), and a dramatically upgraded camera system (200 MP vs 50 MP)
