TVS Motor Company has stepped into the premium adventure motorcycle category with the launch of its all-new TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure. Building on the strong legacy of the Apache series, this latest offering marks TVS's debut into the mid-range ADV (Adventure) motorcycle space. With an aggressive design, high-performance engine, and long-travel suspension, the Apache RTX 300 is ready to rival established players like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM Adventure, and BMW G 310 GS.

Design and Styling

The TVS Apache RTX 300 sports a rugged and muscular design, clearly tailored for adventure and touring lovers. Its tall stance, upright handlebars, large 19-inch front wheel, and dual-purpose tyres instantly give it a commanding presence on the road. The bike features split LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a tall adjustable windscreen, and robust knuckle guards for off-road protection.

The sharp tank extensions, skid plate, and high-mounted front fender enhance its off-road aesthetics, while the split seat design ensures comfort for both rider and pillion on long journeys. A fully digital TFT instrument cluster offers smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes, and Bluetooth-based call/SMS alerts.

Engine and Performance

Powering the Apache RTX 300 is a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine derived from TVS's racing experience. It delivers approximately 30 PS of power and 28 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch. This setup ensures smooth power delivery across both city roads and off-road terrains. The engine has been tuned to provide strong low and mid-range torque, making it ideal for off-road climbs and highway overtakes.

TVS has equipped the bike with multiple ride modes like Rain, Urban, and Sport for adapting performance based on terrain and rider preference. The bike also features a Ride-by-Wire throttle system for better control and throttle response.

Suspension, Brakes & Tyres

The Apache RTX 300 Adventure is built on a tubular steel trellis frame that ensures durability and agility. It is equipped with long-travel USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear, both tuned for dual-purpose performance. The suspension setup provides great comfort on rough roads and can handle off-road trails with ease.

Braking duties are handled by petal disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS, offering excellent braking control. The ADV runs on spoke wheels with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tyres wrapped in dual-purpose rubber, ensuring traction in both urban and trail environments.

  • Full-color TFT display with smartphone connectivity
  • Navigation support with voice guidance
  • USB charging port

The expected price range is around ₹2.40 lakh to ₹2.70 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a value-rich competitor in the adventure bike segment.
